4,300 bin locks and counting
Council’s lock-fitting team have secured locking mechanisms to 4,300 bins across Lorne since November to stop clever cockatoos from opening lids and pulling out rubbish.
There are only a few hundred properties left that don’t have bin locks on their FOGO, recycling and landfill bins. If you live in Lorne and your bins don’t yet have a lock fitted, let us know ASAP so we can access your bins.
