Mulch

Mulch is currently available from our Anglesea and Winchelsea transfer stations.

Mulch is not currently available at the Lorne Transfer Station as the site undergoes facility improvement works.

The mulch is made from green waste received at Anglesea transfer station. Tree prunings, branches, weeds and other garden waste is pasteurised, which kills seeds and makes the mulch safe to use on your garden.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Mulch may contain contamination. Our site contractors remove contamination materials when noticed however, despite these efforts contamination can occur and can impact the quality of the product. Please check the quality of the mulch to make sure it meets your requirements before its is loaded.
  • Transfer stations accept EFTPOS and vouchers only.
  • Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before closing time so the team can help you load your trailer before the transfer station closes.

Sharps disposals

Needles and syringes can be deposited at various locations.

The Victoria Health Hub Needle and Syringe Program page has a list and map of locations around the state.

If you're looking to get a sharps container, contact your local pharmacy or a diabetic educator.
