Libraries
The Geelong Regional Library Corporation provides library and information services to residents and visitors across the Geelong region in five member councils including Surf Coast Shire.
The Torquay branch and the mobile library make it possible for Surf Coast residents to enjoy all the benefits of a Geelong Regional Library membership.

A mobile library visits Surf Coast towns, providing access to Geelong Regional Libraries' huge collection. You can also access free WiFi, computers and iPads on the mobile library, as well as printing, scanning and photocopying facilities.

Friendly staff members will help you become a library member – it's easy and free. Bring proof of ID with your address to the Torquay or mobile library, and membership can be confirmed within minutes.
What does membership include?
Library members can browse the full library catalogue, and request items to be delivered to the Torquay or mobile libraries. Items can be returned to the mobile library or any of the 16 libraries in the GRLC network.
