Winchelsea Movie Club launched its fourth season on the 20th of February, welcoming new and existing members. The club is encouraging anyone new to town to join and enjoy a social night at the Globe each month with a movie followed by supper, wine, tea and coffee.

For a very affordable $7 a film (including supper), members will be treated to a line up of 10 films throughout the year. First up is The Greatest Showman, a musical biography featuring Hugh Jackman. Other films include Cats, War Horse, Ride Like a Girl and The Green Book.

The movie club is a membership-based group as part of the Federation of Victorian Film Societies, which keeps film royalties affordable. Members can join for the Autumn or Spring season ($40 or $35 Health Care Card concession) or for the year ($70 or $65 Health Care Card concession) .

Joining is easy, simply email movies@growingwinchelsea.com or pick up a membership form from IGA or Maguire Butcher Shop. Existing members do not need to complete a membership form. Payment can be made by cash or card at the first film or by bank transfer (details on the membership form).
