Sustainable Periods: Making the shift to eco-friendly products
Next date: Wednesday, 19 March 2025 | 07:30 PM
to 08:30 PM
Disposable period products such as pads and tampons, cost thousands of dollars over their lifetime, and are a huge contributor to landfill waste each year.
Alternatively using reusable period products is a great solution – it helps you save a lot of money, avoids waste and protects the environment!
Are you curious about switching to reusable options such as menstrual cups, period underwear, and reusable pads? Or are you already using reusable products but have some questions? This workshop is for you.
Join us to hear from Elana, owner of Cloth Nappy Workshops Melbourne, for a comprehensive introduction and Q&A to eco friendly period products! Using reusable period products can be easy. Learn about the different products, fitting and washing/laundering – for great success.
All participants joining the workshop will receive a voucher for Menstrual Cups Australia Online valued at $50 to purchase your choice of reusable period products! (*Strictly one voucher per participant only).
This session is LGBTIQA+ inclusive, with no gendered language used. All ages and families are encouraged to attend. You can join with your camera off and use a pseudonym if preferred.
