From Scraps to Soil: Easy home composting and worm farming

Update 20 February 2025  - With increased fire risk in the area, due to increasingly extreme heat and weather conditions forecast for this Saturday, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the From Scraps to Soil: Easy home composting and worm farming at Common Ground Project.

The safety of our community and environment is our top priority, and in accordance with our Fire Preparedness Policy, Council services are restricted on Extreme and Catastrophic fire days in order to keep everyone safe.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We encourage you to sign up for the second session on Saturday 5 April and we have increased the capacity on that date. We will also look into rescheduling another date in late April/May and will keep you updated.
