Big Boys Breakfast
Art of the Minds is proud to present the second annual Big Boys Breakfast with special guest Glenn Manton.
Accomplished AFL player for Carlton, to help us shine a light on mental illness from a male perspective.
Why do we need to have this conversation?
8.6 Australians die every day by suicide. That's more than double the road toll (ABS, 2022).
75% of those who take their own lives are male (ABS, 2022).
An unknown number of Australians attempt suicide every year, with some estimates suggesting this figure may be over 65,000 (Slade et al, 2009).
Join the conversation!
Join us as we hear lived experience stories from courageous and creative individuals, sharing the vulnerabilities of men in finding their strengths in Recovery. Learn about where to reach for help and learn mo re about how we can support men’s mental health.
