The next 2024 General Election for the Surf Coast Shire Council will be held via postal voting only.
Voting closes at 6pm on Friday 25 October.

Following the Victorian Government’s electoral structure and ward boundary review the shire will change to three wards.

The proposed names of the wards are:

  • Otway Range Ward
  • Torquay Ward
  • Winchelsea Ward

Nine councillors will be elected, three representing each ward.

The election is a postal vote. Ballot packs will be mailed from Monday 7 October to Thursday 10 October by the Victorian Electoral Commission.

Please contact the VEC on 131 832 if you don’t receive your ballot pack by Thursday 17 October.
