Knowing where to find an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency can be the difference between life and death.

Ambulance Victoria (AV) are encouraging all AED owners to register the location of their device.

Shocktober is a month long campaign, held during the month of October, to highlight the importance of learning CPR, how to use an AED, knowing where AEDs can be located in the community and most importantly registering the location of your AED.

Did you know, even if you originally registered your AED via Ambulance Victoria, if your AED device pads or batteries are out of date your AED will be removed from the register.
