Anglesea Public Transport Action Group campaign

Anglesea Public Transport Action Group (APTAG) invites people to join its campaign for an earlier extra bus service that will take people to Anglesea and Lorne from Geelong, before returning.

What will the extra earlier service achieve?

APTAG believes that an additional earlier return service could be a solution to the affordable accommodation crisis. By arriving in the coastal towns before local businesses open, the service would enable prospective employees from the Geelong region – who aren’t able to find an affordable place to live in Anglesea or Lorne – to travel to the coast for work.

The return service would then support Surf Coast community members and visitors to travel to Geelong, after the peak school drop-off time. It would offer an opportunity to utilise services and appointments in the Geelong region that aren't available locally.
