Local residents have proposed a basketball activity area to be added to Spring Valley Park, at 84a Spring Valley Drive, Torquay.
This popular site for local families currently has a playground, bike park, BBQ shelter and grass kickabout area. A basketball activity space proposes to complement these activities.
The draft concept is for a basketball pad with a 3 point line area. The design has considered:
- residential amenity
- creating a safe and accessible environment
- site drainage and overland water flows
