Winchelsea Library repairs

Work is moving ahead to repair Winchelsea’s historic former library building.

Council has engaged a contractor to underpin the south-east corner of the building and repair damaged plaster and brick work.

Council and the contractor will finalise the works program soon.

The former library was used by volunteers to provide visitor information services before its closure in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Cracking was discovered soon after, leading to the building's closure.
