Information updated 31 December 2024
Reconstruction of the two netball courts at Eastern Reserve is underway.
A contractor has been appointed for the project, which will see full replacement of the existing cracked asphalt courts with more durable playing surfaces and more robust base pavements to help minimise damage from seasonal ground movement.
The project budget includes allowance for external construction supervision and advice from a Netball Victoria consultant.
Unseen issues with this project is causing delays. Further geo technical investigation has been undertaken and new designs prepared.
Council is working with all stakeholders and is providing updates directly to the netball committee.
