Planning of reconstruction of two netball courts at Eastern Reserve is underway following Council allocation of funds.

A contractor has been appointed for the project, which will see full replacement of the existing cracked asphalt courts with more durable playing surfaces and more robust base pavements to help minimise damage from seasonal ground movement.

The project budget includes allowance for external construction supervision and advice from a Netball Victoria consultant.

Temporary works are currently being undertaken so that the courts are ready to be used for this season, and reconstruction will occur after the end of the netball season.
